Baseball Recap: Triumph Charter Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Triumph Charter faced off against Gardena on Saturday. The Jaguars lost 11-1 to the Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Jaguars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Triumph Charter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Cruz, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Triumph Charter's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Gardena, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-17.

Coming up, Triumph Charter will square off against Lakeview Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Gardena, they will face off against San Pedro at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
