Volleyball Recap: Assumption Falls to E.D. White

Assumption was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the E.D. White Cardinals.

Assumption has now lost seven of their last nine games at home. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season. As for E.D. White, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Assumption is set to square off against their familiar foe Morgan City at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, E.D. White will challenge their in-conference opponent A.J. Ellender at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
