Baseball Recap: East Carteret's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

East Carteret had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Goldsboro on Friday. The East Carteret Mariners never let the Goldsboro Cougars get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mariners, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Chase Roberson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Jacob Grimm was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
