Recap: Massanutten Military Academy Colonels vs. Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets
The Massanutten Military Academy Colonels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 77-27 loss at the hands of Randolph-Macon Academy. Massanutten Military Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-18.
Randolph-Macon Academy was led to victory by Bilal Kebbay and Chidera George. Kebbay scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, while George dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. George is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Johnathan Doku was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
Massanutten Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Massanutten Military Academy will square off against Eastern Mennonite at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastern Mennonite knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully Massanutten Military Academy likes a good challenge. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
