Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 22-1 to the Mountain View Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-1 back in March.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marshall will challenge rival Gabrielino at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mountain View is set to face off against their familiar foe Rosemead at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
