Basketball Recap: Green Tech Skates Past North Warren Central with Ease

There's no place like home for Green Tech, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They claimed a resounding 106-55 victory over the North Warren Central Cougars. The Eagles pushed the score to 81-38 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had no chance of recovering from.

Green Tech's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was U'Mier Graham, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Graham a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ramere Brown, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 assists.

Green Tech was working as a unit and finished the game with 35 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory got Green Tech back to even at 7-7. As for North Warren Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Green Tech Eagles duke it out with the Hoosac Owls at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for North Warren Central, they will square off against Corinth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Corinth's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.
