Volleyball Recap: Caney Creek Takes a Loss

Caney Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lumberton Raiders. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in August of 2022.

Caney Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Lumberton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Caney Creek is on the road again on Saturday to play Shepherd at 9:00 a.m. As for Lumberton, they will take on Dayton in a tournament on Saturday.
