Soccer Game Preview: Lakewood vs. Columbine + How To Watch

The Lakewood Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Columbine Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lakewood took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Valor Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Saturday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Lakewood were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Enzo Bennett, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Columbine and Arvada West finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

With that draw, Columbine's record moves to 6-2-3. As for Lakewood, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Lakewood couldn't quite get it done against Columbine in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
