Soccer Recap: Ridgeland Triumphs

Ridgeland made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Dade County, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Ridgeland Panthers' defense stepped up to hand the Dade County Wolverines a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. Lilah Ronda had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Panthers.

Ridgeland used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Dade County. Three players got more time on the pitch than they're used to: Haydie Cheli (73), Ronda (47), and Maria Ronda (80). The trio had averaged 48.5, 28, and 47.8 minutes respectively before Tuesday's game. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Lilah scored a goal, while she scored a goal and two assists.
