Joss Baker leads Olympus to victory over Skyline

Recap: Olympus Titans vs. Skyline Eagles

After losing to the Skyline Eagles the last time they met, the Olympus Titans decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Olympus walked away with a 48-41 victory over Skyline on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Olympus.

Joss Baker was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keily Trabanino, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Skyline lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chloe Quinn, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Mia Johnson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.

The victory got Olympus back to even at 8-8. As for Skyline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Olympus will head out on the road to challenge Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland is out to stop a eight-game streak of losses at home. Skyline will take on Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Sophie Nielsen and Cami Groberg.
