Amanda-Clearcreek hadn't done well against Fisher Catholic recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Aces came out on top against the Irish by a score of 3-1. For the Aces, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Irish walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

Amanda-Clearcreek walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 10-25, 25-22, 28-26.

Gavynn Sowers paced Amanda-Clearcreek's offense, picking up 13 kills. Sowers got some help from Olivia Davis and her 20 assists. Davis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Amanda-Clearcreek's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Fisher Catholic, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Amanda-Clearcreek will take on Liberty Union at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fisher Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Trimble on the 22nd.
