Softball Preview: Rockport Vikings vs. Ipswich Tigers
Rockport is 2-8 against Ipswich since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Rockport Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Ipswich Tigers at 3:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Rockport couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 26-7 walloping at the hands of Salem on Friday. The loss means Rockport is still on the hunt for the season's first 'W'.
