Hamilton and Fairfield pushed the score to 42-21 the last time they played Fairfield, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Big Blue walked away with a 14-7 victory over the Indians. The win was some much needed relief for the Big Blue as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Hamilton picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Fairfield, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-4.
