The Ironton Fighting Tigers will head out to face off against the Uniontown Red Raiders at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ironton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 34 points per game this season.

Ironton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: Wheelersburg, who was ranked 17th at the time (Ironton was ranked 11th). The Fighting Tigers fell 24-15 to the Pirates on Friday. The matchup marked the Fighting Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ironton's loss came about despite a quality game from Kayden Edwards, who rushed for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 110 yards on nine of 18 attempts.

Meanwhile, Uniontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 49-13 loss at the hands of Martins Ferry. That's two games in a row now that the Red Raiders have lost by exactly 36 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ironton fell to 5-1. As for Uniontown, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
