Football Recap: Da'shawn Moore Key Part of Team Effort in Timberwolves Win

Beaumont United won the last time they faced Sterling and things went their way on Thursday too. The Timberwolves walked away with a 24-14 win over the Rangers.

Beaumont United's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Da'Shawn Moore, who rushed for 112 yards and one TD. Those 112 rushing yards gave Moore a new career-high. Ashton Henry was another key player, picking up 96 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Beaumont United didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jamon Pelican and Henry. Tre'Dan Jackson-Hayes was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble and making eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Beaumont United pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points on average over those games. As for Sterling, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
