Soccer Recap: Prairie View Comes Up Short

After flying high against Smoky Hill last Tuesday, Prairie View came back down to earth. The Prairie View Thunderhawks took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairview Knights on Thursday. The match was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Thunderhawks couldn't quite close it out.

Izabel Berlinski and Aspen Steen scored both of Prairie View's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Prairie View's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fairview, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prairie View will square off against Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairview, they will challenge Fort Collins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
