The Silverton Foxes will face off against the West Albany Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Silverton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Corvallis get on the board and left with a 21-0 win on Monday. With that victory, the Foxes brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.

Mckenzee Petersen was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Hannah Houts was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Paisley Rains was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles.
Silverton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 10.4.
Meanwhile, West Albany made easy work of Crescent Valley on Monday and carried off an 11-0 win. That looming 11-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.
West Albany got a massive performance out of Kodi Carapinha 2026, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was Carapinha 2026's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Kidd 2026, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.
The victory made it two in a row for West Albany and bumps their season record up to 3-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Silverton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Silverton was able to grind out a solid win over West Albany in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 8-5. Will the Foxes repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
