Baseball Recap: Gatlinburg-Pittman Takes a Loss

Gatlinburg-Pittman lost against Clinton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Highlanders lost 12-4 to the Dragons. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gatlinburg-Pittman saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Reece, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Gatlinburg-Pittman now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.

While Gatlinburg-Pittman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
