Volleyball Game Preview: Lindbergh Flyers vs. St. Louis University Junior Bills

Lindbergh is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against St. Pius X as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Lindbergh's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-15.

Lindbergh found their leader in sophomore Alex Ahrens, who had ten digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Ahrens is now averaging an impressive 12.4 assists per game.

Meanwhile, St. Louis University faced Kirkwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Junior Bills were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pioneers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Junior Bills.

While St. Louis University won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23, 25-18.

Lindbergh's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 29-2. As for St. Louis University, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.
