With a playoff game on the line, Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton rose to the challenge on Friday. They really took it to Cambridge/Salem for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-15 win at home. The victory was just business as usual for Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.

It was another big night for Gavin McCabe, who rushed for 208 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 62 receiving yards. McCabe has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Jeckel, who rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Stillwater made easy work of Canajoharie/Fort Plain on Friday and carried off a 35-14 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Stillwater.

Stillwater's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaxon Mueller, who rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 20 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Lukas Lilac, who rushed for 159 yards.

The team's defense also helped out by holding Canajoharie/Fort Plain to a paltry 246 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Stillwater's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out three times before it was all said and done. In that department, Mueller was the leader with two sacks.

Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 50.6 points. As for Stillwater, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's match: Warrensburg/Lake George/Bolton has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 364.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Stillwater struggles in that department as they've been averaging 287.7 per game. It's looking like Friday's contest might have some serious battles in the trenches.
