League recap: League lead hangs in balance for Bullard-Havens RVT, Wilcox RVT this week

Constitution State - West league recap: 5/7/12

Wilcox RVT trails Bullard-Havens RVT by just -1.00 games in the league standings, which means there could have a new first-place team by next week.

Nick Siwinski was on fire this week, as he led Constitution State - West with a .667 average with three RBIs. Vinal RVT compiled a record of 3-0 in that time.

Goodwin RVT's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 13 hits and three walks to lead the league in both categories. On the season, the Gladiators have allowed just 63 hits, while striking out 77 batters. Miguel Sanchez leads the Gladiators with 34 strikeouts in 27 innings.

The Hawks led the league with 35 runs scored this week, but the Tigers still hold the season lead with 148 runs.



Joseph Goss led the league with nine hits this week for O'Brien RVT. He is sixteenth in the league with 12 hits this year, and has a .600 batting average.

David Maldonado was the player of the game on May 2, 2012 with four RBIs in Bullard-Havens RVT's 4-1 victory over Cheney RVT.
