Baseball Game Preview: Cranberry Area Berries vs. Brookville Raiders

The Cranberry Area Berries will face off against the Brookville Raiders at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Cranberry Area's last matchup with West Middlesex could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest last Saturday. The Berries lost 13-6 to the Big Reds. The Berries have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alex McIntyre was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Brookville's offense. They came up short against St. Marys on Friday, falling 6-0. The Raiders' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Brookville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Kalgren, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Cranberry Area's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brookville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
