Football Recap: East/World of Inquiry Skates Past Wilson Magnet with Ease

East/World of Inquiry won the last time they faced Wilson Magnet and things went their way on Friday too. East/World of Inquiry blew past Wilson Magnet 49-14. With East/World of Inquiry ahead 28-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Shawnqwezz Williams had a dynamite game, throwing for 121 yards and three TDs on only six passes, while also rushing for 48 yards and one touchdown. Amir Bush was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Darius Weathers, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The victory made it two in a row for East/World of Inquiry and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.5 points over those games. As for Wilson Magnet, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

East/World of Inquiry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-0 loss against Monroe on the 27th. Wilson Magnet has also already played their next contest (against Gates Chili), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
