Plainfield is 10-0 against Northview since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Plainfield Quakers will welcome the Northview Knights at 7:30 p.m. Plainfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.3 points per game this season.

Plainfield is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against Avon, falling 65-44. While losing is never fun, the Quakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Orioles are ranked seventh).

Despite the defeat, Plainfield had strong showings from Noah Smith, who posted 13 points along with five boards and three blocks, and Landon Gilliatt, who went 6 of 13 en route to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton East, who had four points.

Meanwhile, Northview put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against South Putnam by a score of 62-49.

Northview's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Plainfield, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Everything came up roses for Plainfield against Northview in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-44 victory. Does Plainfield have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
