Basketball Game Preview: Springbrook Blue Devils vs. Sherwood Warriors

Springbrook has won six straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Sherwood has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Springbrook Blue Devils will welcome the Sherwood Warriors. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Springbrook saw some tournament action on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 89-40 victory over Huntingtown. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 65-15.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Sherwood over Howard in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Sherwood blew Howard out of the water with an 81-43 final score. The Warriors pushed the score to 68-36 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions had no chance of recovering from.

Sherwood's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Springbrook, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-0.
