Baseball Recap: Buckley's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Buckley was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of the Roscommon Bucks by a score of 3-1. The loss put an end to the Bears' undefeated start to the season.

Buckley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Svec, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Buckley fell to 2-1. As for Roscommon, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Buckley beat the Bucks by a score of 4-2 later that day.
