Basketball Game Preview: Newsome Wolves vs. Osceola Warriors

The Newsome Wolves will venture away from home to face off against the Osceola Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Newsome is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Saturday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Newsome made off with a 47-46 win over Carrollwood Day. That's two games straight that the Wolves have won by just one point.

Meanwhile, Osceola hadn't done well against Seminole recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Osceola had just enough and edged Seminole out 55-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since January 25th.

The win was the third in a row for Osceola, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Newsome, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0.
