Basketball Recap: Bradshaw Mountain's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Bradshaw Mountain needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Kalli Smith. The Bradshaw Mountain Bears claimed a resounding 52-12 victory over the Arcadia Titans thanks in part to Smith, who went 7 for 13 on her way to 16 points in addition to three steals and three blocks. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Johnson, who posted eight points and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.

Bradshaw Mountain now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Arcadia, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Bradshaw Mountain will welcome Prescott at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arcadia, they will venture away from home to challenge Coronado at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
