Wichita Defenders HomeSchool kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 72-34 loss at the hands of the Sunrise Christian Academy Buffaloes. The Defenders lost against the Buffaloes in their previous head to head back in January of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-46 score last time.
Sunrise Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Iyzrel Graham, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine steals. Tomohito Kobari was another key player, going 6 for 9 en route to 13 points.
