Volleyball Recap: Salesian College Preparatory Snaps 11-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Salesian College Preparatory dropped to 26-6 on Wednesday, ending the team's 11-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Saint Mary's Panthers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Pride haven't been shut out since back in August.

As for Saint Mary's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-8. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 18-17 Albany (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 66.3% over those games).

Saint Mary's found their leader in sophomore Jocelyn Martinez, who had 13 assists and ten digs.

Salesian College Preparatory wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Alameda on the 29th. As for Saint Mary's, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Albany on the 29th.
