Basketball Recap: Addi Hansen Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Ogden

Stansbury won the last time they faced Ogden and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Stansbury Stallions snuck past the Ogden Tigers with a 55-51 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stallions.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stansbury to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addi Hansen, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave Hansen a new career-high in steals (three). Dania Malu was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

Stansbury is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Ogden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Stansbury wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-34 loss against Cottonwood on the 11th. As for Ogden, they will head out to take on Tooele at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tooele's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
