Coronado and Palo Verde are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2022, but not for long. The Cougars will face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Coronado comes in on 21 and Palo Verde on six.

Coronado is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Arbor View as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Coronado's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Palo Verde faced Shadow Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Panthers came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1.

Coronado pushed their record up to 37-2 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Palo Verde, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.

Coronado was able to grind out a solid win over Palo Verde in their previous matchup back in April, winning 3-1. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
