Recap: Triplains/Brewster Titans vs. Weskan Coyotes
The Triplains/Brewster Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Weskan on the road and fell 83-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Triplains/Brewster in their matchups with Weskan: they've now lost four in a row.
Weskan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trey Allen led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. Allen is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Judah Crow, who scored 23 points along with two steals.
Triplains/Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Weskan, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Triplains/Brewster will square off against Heartland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weskan, they will head out on the road to take on Wheatland-Grinnell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
