Kamden Fragale Tops All Others This Week

Starting off the list is Cameron County's Kamden Fragale, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Fragale produced his best game of the campaign on Friday: he made six total tackles (2.0 for loss).

On the season, Fragale has averaged 4.6 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 22.8 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 56.4 rushing yards.

Jonah Ganoe Dazzles in Smethport Defeat

Smethport had to settle for second on Friday, but Jonah Ganoe sure wasn't going down easily. Bradford had no answer to Ganoe as he rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown.

This year, Ganoe has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 87.6 rushing yards per game.

Owen Rounsville Makes It Two for Smethport

Keeping Ganoe company is Owen Rounsville, a fellow Smethport player. He rushed for 34 yards and a touchdown.

On the season, Rounsville has averaged 60 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 14.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 30.67 rushing yards.

Malakai Zucal Makes It Two for Cameron County

The second Cameron County player making an appearance here is Malakai Zucal, and for good reason. He rushed for 81 yards.

Unfortunately for Sheffield, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Zucal. Zucal rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries the last time he and the Wolverines duked it out back in October of 2023.

Shawn Miller Jr Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Shawn Miller Jr of Coudersport. Miller Jr picked up 26 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Coudersport's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4. Miller Jr and Coudersport will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
