Basketball Recap: Blackford Takes a Loss

Blackford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Anderson Prep Academy Jets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-32 last Thursday.

When it comes to explaining why Blackford lost, don't look at Raegan Ridgway. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points.

Blackford's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Anderson Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.

Blackford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-17 defeat against Frankton on the 24th. Anderson Prep Academy has also already played their next matchup (against Providence Cristo Rey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
