Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maysville). They took down the Polo Panthers 44-30 on Thursday. This was payback for the Wolverines, who suffered a 43-25 loss the last time these two teams met.

Maysville's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for Polo, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maysville will venture away from home to take on Gallatin at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Polo, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wellington-Napoleon at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th.
