Soccer Game Preview: Lynbrook vs. Monta Vista

The Lynbrook Vikings will face off against the Monta Vista Matadors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Lynbrook is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Milpitas on Tuesday. Lynbrook fell 3-1 to Milpitas.

Lynbrook's goal came courtesy of Reagan Markert, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Monta Vista kept a clean sheet against Milpitas on Thursday. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Matadors were the better team in the second half.

The victory made it two in a row for Monta Vista and bumps their season record up to 10-4-4. As for Lynbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6-3.
