11 must be Lynden's lucky number: they beat Cedarcrest with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Lions beat the Red Wolves by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Lynden is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Cedarcrest, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-14-1.

Coming up, Lynden will challenge Ephrata at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Cedarcrest, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-9 defeat against Woodland on the 23rd.
