D.H. Conley is 9-1 against New Bern since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bears at 6:00 p.m. D.H. Conley will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
D.H. Conley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Northside - Jacksonville get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Vikings have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Harper Bradley was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Gaddis, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
D.H. Conley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, New Bern's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of South Central by a score of 5-4.
New Bern saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Champey, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Bella Colon, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
D.H. Conley's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for New Bern, their loss dropped their record down to 16-3.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. D.H. Conley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .318. However, it's not like New Bern struggles in that department as they've averaged .314. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
D.H. Conley was able to grind out a solid victory over New Bern in their previous matchup on April 2nd, winning 3-0. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
