Baseball Recap: Fryeburg Comes Up Short

Fryeburg had lost four straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 5-5 to make it five. They fell just short of the Wells Warriors by a score of 4-3. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

As for Wells, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games.

For Wells' part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Moody, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Fryeburg has already played their next game (against Lake Region), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wells, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-2 defeat against Greely on the 30th.
