Soccer Recap: Deer Valley Victorious

After losing to Bradshaw Mountain the last time they met, Deer Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Deer Valley Skyhawks came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bradshaw Mountain Bears on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1.

Tori Wefel-Hayes was the driving force of Deer Valley's attack as she scored both of Deer Valley's goals, bringing her season total up to 11 goals.

Deer Valley now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deer Valley will host Goldwater at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Deer Valley is facing Goldwater at the right time seeing as Goldwater is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they will be playing at home against Lee Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
