Basketball Recap: Palm Bay's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

Palm Bay lost against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Palm Bay Pirates took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Palm Bay still got an impressive performance from Kamari Nesmith, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points and six steals. Those six steals gave Nesmith a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryann Brown, who went 5 for 9 en route to 11 points.

Palm Bay's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Palm Bay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-54 defeat against Hagerty on the 30th. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy has also already played their next contest, a 58-48 loss against Rockledge on the 31st.
