Baseball Recap: Shanley Comes Up Short

Shanley lost to Fargo North back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Deacons came up short against the Spartans, falling 7-1.

Shanley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Klinicke, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Shanley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fargo North, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Spartans beat Shanley by a score of 15-5 later that day.
