Football Recap: All Saints' Academy Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four games, All Saints' Academy finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were beaten by the Hernando Christian Academy Lions 38-6. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Saints, who until this matchup were averaging 8.8 points allowed.

It was another big night for Tayvion Howard, who rushed for 221 yards and one TD while picking up 7.1 yards per carry for Hernando Christian Academy. That's the most rushing yards Howard has posted since back in September of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, All Saints' Academy fell to 4-1. As for Hernando Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-1.

All Saints' Academy has already played their next contest, a 30-28 win against Lake Mary Prep on the 3rd. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Gainesville Christian Community on the 3rd.
