Softball Recap: Brackenridge Takes a Loss

Brackenridge kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Juarez-Lincoln Huskies, falling 16-1. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Brackenridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Larissa Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Juarez-Lincoln and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Brackenridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-1 loss against La Villa on the 14th. As for Juarez-Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-3 win against Port Isabel on the 14th.
