After a string of seven wins, Emerson's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridgewood Maroons. The Cavaliers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Maroons from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Emerson's loss dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Ridgewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emerson will face off against New Milford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ridgewood, they will take on Paramus at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
