Cranston East faced Barrington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Thunderbolts blew past the Eagles 3-0. The victory was nothing new for the Thunderbolts as they're now sitting on three straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-20, 25-14.

Cranston East pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Barrington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cranston East and Barrington will both be playing North Kingstown the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Skippers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Thunderbolts will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
