Volleyball Recap: East Vikings vs. Bishop Shanahan Eagles
East entered their match against Bishop Shanahan on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Vikings came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-13, 25-13.
Sara Fatscher paced East's offense, picking up six kills. Fatscher got some help from Katie McPeak and her 13 assists.
East's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Bishop Shanahan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.
East has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Downingtown West on the 29th. As for Bishop Shanahan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bayard Rustin on the 29th.
