Softball Recap: Torrey Pines Takes a Loss

Torrey Pines was the 3-0 winner over Point Loma when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Torrey Pines Falcons fell just short of the Point Loma Pointers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

Torrey Pines saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Cullivan, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Torrey Pines' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Point Loma, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coincidentally, Torrey Pines and Point Loma will both be playing Rancho Bernardo the next time they take the field. Point Loma will head out to face Rancho Bernardo at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, while Torrey Pines will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
