Volleyball Recap: Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Has No Trouble Against International High School at Largo

The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers made easy work of the International High School at Largo Sea Turtles on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-8.

Cayla Dixon paced Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South's offense, picking up five kills. Dixon got some help from Hailey Pilgrim and her 12 assists. Dixon also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aaliyah Kelly, each putting up six.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for International High School at Largo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coming up, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South will be playing at home against Friendly at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. International High School at Largo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
